I am having a wonderful time coming up with new ideas, new twists. I call this page 2 Christmas Trees.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqEUAb1k_mbGugpXn2ZST_5sWK-pUmy-KsboSyI-97n2z6G4SmziXNUkM5EdZItR012N3zyyFJVqRPraNbORELEfAiDENN3OQAymspz6OCclMnOhIrxG10CmScQeJJ-Gfz966xCwd2sCU/s1600/Christmas+Trees.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1237" data-original-width="1600" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqEUAb1k_mbGugpXn2ZST_5sWK-pUmy-KsboSyI-97n2z6G4SmziXNUkM5EdZItR012N3zyyFJVqRPraNbORELEfAiDENN3OQAymspz6OCclMnOhIrxG10CmScQeJJ-Gfz966xCwd2sCU/s320/Christmas+Trees.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Until next time, Happy Creating.Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-2589024536362550162018-12-14T13:19:00.000-07:002018-12-14T13:19:26.103-07:00Over the years, I discovered I've been running around trying new things creative-wise. Bad thing though is I never slowed down to share my ideas and projects on my blog. No excuse. Just too preoccupied in my mind to think beyond step one.<br />
<br />
So, my goal for the upcoming year, I am going to spend more time posting than procrastinating.<br />
<br />
This Christmas I've been working on Canvas gifts and journal pages for journal gifts.<br />
<br />
Here is one of my journal pages (to be printed) for this year's journals..<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Yhmohr7-i1XhuwbvGBqz4uvqIW9BxVSg5WQVr9K5GisPeSp1CSEwIiQO_0UksqHeOf6Cowe-THmlRyrhvMUIH_mFWjK7i_gnLErCTlwW18BAlG8dhOys-2jgeCMPtttKLuVjG24nAPo/s1600/2+Santas+Journal+Page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1237" data-original-width="1600" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi6Yhmohr7-i1XhuwbvGBqz4uvqIW9BxVSg5WQVr9K5GisPeSp1CSEwIiQO_0UksqHeOf6Cowe-THmlRyrhvMUIH_mFWjK7i_gnLErCTlwW18BAlG8dhOys-2jgeCMPtttKLuVjG24nAPo/s320/2+Santas+Journal+Page.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
All you have to do is print the page, print on the back side another journal page, fold in half and you will have four pages to put in a journal.<br />
<br />
I've added another journal page for you to use as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCX7sTxBYWDgvWDut01cTKY-aAtqPtPA_ol0QU9sHb_V09zOiEPfi3ZqORUvvoBgNXi7hLW0hqAdmSxtk2Yd7IsKXGljkLu8SnaJvPB3MyrqKZ33L8nEg-Cs20Zb2H9DkfVT52nd-xvJM/s1600/Hanging+Stocking+Journal+Page.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1237" data-original-width="1600" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCX7sTxBYWDgvWDut01cTKY-aAtqPtPA_ol0QU9sHb_V09zOiEPfi3ZqORUvvoBgNXi7hLW0hqAdmSxtk2Yd7IsKXGljkLu8SnaJvPB3MyrqKZ33L8nEg-Cs20Zb2H9DkfVT52nd-xvJM/s320/Hanging+Stocking+Journal+Page.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I have made some other pages which are in color. I'll try to add these tomorrow.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Until then, Happy Creating.</div>

For some reason, the theme is galloping in my head. I created this page using acrylics and chalk, along with a stencil to portray the feathers. The stencil was a TCW.<br />
<br />
I am beginning to understand stencils...use them wisely. Liquids run...don't use...unless you want your page to look messy. Which come to think of it, my pages usually do look strange, because I still am trying to learn how different mediums work with other mediums. SIGH<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoHMz3luRYGJuq0dIs4IxCmb7Uk1AuJ9twspjS-3hXLcoegMwPlsdCkahMeJUjWH3QWSF97TtFV9l0LWxfmqQ_HW4THYrS_T9-ZsCxi8tAzcrGxFcxOLKSP7WL7WvDXrtv5qJG8jKz7yQ/s1600/Creative+Thoughts.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoHMz3luRYGJuq0dIs4IxCmb7Uk1AuJ9twspjS-3hXLcoegMwPlsdCkahMeJUjWH3QWSF97TtFV9l0LWxfmqQ_HW4THYrS_T9-ZsCxi8tAzcrGxFcxOLKSP7WL7WvDXrtv5qJG8jKz7yQ/s1600/Creative+Thoughts.jpg" height="320" width="242" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Now for another page I recently created. I really like this one because I managed to start from a weird background of green splots...from there...I decided I was in the mood for a flower and off I went...drawing a daisy. Or, maybe a sunflower missing a few leaves. Either way, I had fun painting it. I used acrylics mostly.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5X1BKloM69RuAW1b3TmDD7d-G28rZi_1SJBaP-h9T6TlY1ytcH8NgOfWuBf8nJo6T6n3cJstngJuY8fhO6M1KIFkBSfiCkS9zmYXO89oQ-Spq1tjKOZiO12cp__7XEfWXWyWSdgUJXR8/s1600/One+Daisy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg5X1BKloM69RuAW1b3TmDD7d-G28rZi_1SJBaP-h9T6TlY1ytcH8NgOfWuBf8nJo6T6n3cJstngJuY8fhO6M1KIFkBSfiCkS9zmYXO89oQ-Spq1tjKOZiO12cp__7XEfWXWyWSdgUJXR8/s1600/One+Daisy.jpg" height="320" width="237" /></a></div>
<br />
Until next time, happy creating...whatever you're doing.Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-47469415861175513642014-10-26T15:40:00.001-07:002014-10-26T15:40:25.799-07:00A Creative ThoughtYesterday evening, while looking for something not art related in my very messy library (I call it the library because the room is loaded with books), I came across a picture I'd saved one time or another. An idea hit me for a journal page and out came my art things.<br />
<br />
Since the World Series was on, I decide to work on my idea while half watching the game. I'm rooting for Kansas City and my husband for San Fransisco. Despite being not too happy at the final score (San Fransisco won), I was pretty pleased at my final drawing. I used a combination of art mediums: Distress Paints, Colored Pens, Molding Paste colored with acrylic paints, a leaf stamp, and two leaf stencils.<br />
<br />
Today I came up with the sentiment because for me I decided the leaves represented thoughts floating in the Universe.<br />

The trouble is, while learning, I am struggling with my Virgo perfection side with my <i>want to be free to do anything </i>side.<br />
<br />
I guess this is a compromises to both sides. Some parts are organized, others are not. Some day I will satisfy both sides. Hopefully in their own departments.<br />

I found the graphic on Pinterest. <br />
<br />
Since I'm limited on my skills of writing by hand, I elected to use the printer to print the words on paper then cut them out. The flowers I drew freehand and colored with various markers. The background was painted with acrylic paints.<br />

I'm still writing best selling books, making cards like crazy, but I've also invested some time for learning how to art journal. I have found art journaling has improved my two other creative sides.<br />
<br />
What fun...and exciting.<br />
<br />
Here's one of my art backgrounds. Believe me, most of the time, I'm designing from another ether world. Sometimes, though, I fall in love a piece of work designed by others and attempt to design my own version.<br />
<br />
For all you wonderful creative people out there you're my inspiration. Thank you.<br />
<br />
So...starting today, I am sharing my first one. I call this RED SUNSET. Since I like these colors so much, I probably won't do more with this page until I'm ready to move on. BIG GRIN <br />

Here is the delightful Popsicle Garden I made for<span style="color: #38761d;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;"><i><b> </b></i><span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://tiadani.com/"><b>Tia Dani's</b></a></span><i><b> </b></i></span><b></b></span></span>booksigning at the <b><span style="color: red;"><i><a href="http://www.glendaleaz.com/events/chocolateaffaire.cfm#eventinfo"><span style="color: red;">Glendale Chocolate Affaire</span> </a></i></span></b>(February 8, 9, & 10). We plan to hand out these candy flowers, along with other goodies to those who stop by to say hi. Grin...hopefully...we'll have some book sales as well. Once we have our site set up, I'll take extra pictures and post them here for you to see all our hard work.<br />
<br />
I found the garden & flower template on<span style="color: red;"> <a href="http://svgcuts.com/"><b>SVGCUTS.COM </b></a></span>It came in a kit with other fun items to make. The kit's name is "For My Valentine". If you have a cutting machine and a cutting program that can cut <span style="color: #674ea7; font-size: large;"><i>svg</i></span> files on your computer, you should be able to make this cutie as well. I did tweak it a little to have it look the way I wanted. I added the butterfly and the sign on the side of the fence. The font I used for the sign can be found on daFont.com<span style="color: blue;"><b>,</b></span> the name is<span style="color: blue;"><b> <span style="color: #38761d;">Cupid de Locke</span></b></span> Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-70691810197046561682013-02-04T15:21:00.000-07:002013-02-04T15:22:21.933-07:00I may be silent, but I'm still creatingI know I haven't been on much, but I have been busy with various projects.<br />
Besides writing fiction, I've bounced between cards, to paper craft projects, to jewelry making.<br />
<br />
Today I going to share a few jewelry projects. First is a necklace, bracelet and earring set.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVVcDqXaHDd22qJ1vWz1uqUDuFST10xI8TaF6Gozz97uJ8SpRM3aC0R7gMMZghvO7wemEOGHUaOO5jSREC_gIK2hK3QQHhyphenhyphenjXu5hGZfrgYhxRIPz9puoQOwVbdHCSck9Cog9rDuqWW2fU/s1600/2013-01-29+14.42.04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVVcDqXaHDd22qJ1vWz1uqUDuFST10xI8TaF6Gozz97uJ8SpRM3aC0R7gMMZghvO7wemEOGHUaOO5jSREC_gIK2hK3QQHhyphenhyphenjXu5hGZfrgYhxRIPz9puoQOwVbdHCSck9Cog9rDuqWW2fU/s320/2013-01-29+14.42.04.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
<br />
Above is a Green Jasper set. Native
Americans see jasper as a magical rain stone and also a powerful healing
stone.Ancient Egyptians wore jasper scarabs as amulets as the stone
was believed to increase sexual energy. Though it may seem in the picture here as a plain set, when worn against the skin, it is quite beautiful.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwaNXS9Cbwt93zD_KmTwl6Y8ySyXQS3FbmnvltCquZPT0iF-Dr0s_cz4tucPsmhpdUoZPE5c-8Mi6JwxlcZkKNK8hwMjsTvG8oRUlwUExgua1eo9F9Rte6cetn8GsJy73lZYr5GM2rtHs/s1600/2013-01-29+20.58.40.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwaNXS9Cbwt93zD_KmTwl6Y8ySyXQS3FbmnvltCquZPT0iF-Dr0s_cz4tucPsmhpdUoZPE5c-8Mi6JwxlcZkKNK8hwMjsTvG8oRUlwUExgua1eo9F9Rte6cetn8GsJy73lZYr5GM2rtHs/s320/2013-01-29+20.58.40.jpg" width="239" /></a></div>
This is a crystal set. I am making it for my writing partner, Dani. She wanted a green crystal set. I included clear crystals for contrast, along with silver bead spacers. All I have to do now is size it exactly to her preference.<br />
<br />
<br />
Normally I keep my jewelry simple, since I prefer simple things. Too elaborate, I'm more or less limited into wearing it. <br />
<br />
That's it for now. I promise I'll be back soon. I have several things to show you. Earlier I would have shown you more cards I've made, but I need to write down all the items I used. For that I need to be organized. Whew. That I'm not. Patient, maybe, but organized...nope.<br />

SIGH...I am so disjointed these days, not to mention I think age has caught up with me...I can't remember anything. I will put something down, walk away, come back and forget where I put it. The worst thing about it is, it is usually sitting right in front of me and I STILL don't see it!<br />
<br />
Enough of whining...although...it might help explain why I haven't been active for awhile. With so many things going on around me, I've been a bit lax in updating my blog. (<i>Sorry about that</i>.)<br />
<br />
However, I have been making cards, but just haven't had time to load some of them here. BUT...yesterday...I was quite proud of myself. I made a nice Father's Day card and had to share it.<br />
<br />
I used a couple of<b><span style="color: #b45f06;"> </span><a href="http://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.com/" style="color: #b45f06;">Free Vintage Digital Stamps</a></b> graphics. They were downloaded a while back, but I'm sure Pamela still has them on her site somewhere. She has quite a few awesome vintage graphics to choose from. I've always wanted to do a Vintage card, but could not wrap my brain around on what to do. Yesterday, like I said, I had an eureka moment.<br />
<br />
Here's the card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4nj47R-G8r7sQfttgwZ0YkU-QiZX5VRpcSIIeaRZAUt2kbKdpmsntY1fEKkc0ALTI4XvGO3aN7Bf7tAu4itVciFZ-OGkM4mGgkyfQpWk6bmXMbhiN_CfRKwWhw5V96VrXlDp8YtmxrTo/s1600/Father's+Day+Vintage+Front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4nj47R-G8r7sQfttgwZ0YkU-QiZX5VRpcSIIeaRZAUt2kbKdpmsntY1fEKkc0ALTI4XvGO3aN7Bf7tAu4itVciFZ-OGkM4mGgkyfQpWk6bmXMbhiN_CfRKwWhw5V96VrXlDp8YtmxrTo/s320/Father's+Day+Vintage+Front.jpg" width="246" /></a></div>
<br />
It's not an elaborately made card, but will be easy to mail. <i>(usually I make most of my cards to be mailed without having to use a lot of postage.)</i><br />
<br />
The font I used for the sentiment was<i> </i>Freehand591BT. <i>Nestabilities</i>: Fleur De Lis Rectangle to enhance our dapper, young gentleman.<br />
<br />
Here's the inside of the card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIdt8yw3NwTEVQ_ogcBWBhCxJTXNXSBrjPSb6V6xAcsDFRMibxoMWYRzTHC8LK5HznW1k5IV_uZBPZz63JOZ-fuDeGJQxPJVr5F6LdUfXXRK0DVD7kcmr1ZE_il8ySFFI3OO6zXmJR-aw/s1600/Happy+Father%2527s+Day+Vintage+Inside.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIdt8yw3NwTEVQ_ogcBWBhCxJTXNXSBrjPSb6V6xAcsDFRMibxoMWYRzTHC8LK5HznW1k5IV_uZBPZz63JOZ-fuDeGJQxPJVr5F6LdUfXXRK0DVD7kcmr1ZE_il8ySFFI3OO6zXmJR-aw/s320/Happy+Father%2527s+Day+Vintage+Inside.png" width="253" /></a></div>
<br />
The quote I made was inspired by Clarence Budington Kelland's lovely words. I decided to change it so it would read more generic than personal. The card sender could add his or her personal comments below the quote.<br />
<br />
Following is a PNG of the sentiment I made. The fonts used were Engraves MT and Budmo Jiggler.<br />
<br />
To make the inside frame, I printed the sentiment onto cream paper then went to my Cricut and cut a 4x5 inch scalloped frame (Accent Essentials) around the sentiment.<br />
<br />
<i> </i><br />
Note: <i>Using </i>Cricut Design Studio<i>, I typeset several different styles of inside frames and saved them all in a "Frames" file. That way I don't have to reinvent the wheel every time I need a certain color and shape to go inside one of my cards. </i><i>If you have a Cricut and </i>Cricut Design Studio <i>and would like to have a copy of my frames, let me know.)</i><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Here's the sentiment in case you would like to use it some day.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTPFukbmca3-9KWX331WMzRdNPx7ZmDyyTZ0PpwHCwK1vnt0vZ3HY_F7pnouJbfEw_p-eKWbeM2XFuxDHFsP6g6Uv2h0qDdeq2-oIaaMM-caMMQopsEXVFipGxnFiY2dBKFUBqacOYGvg/s1600/Inside+Word+Art.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="210" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTPFukbmca3-9KWX331WMzRdNPx7ZmDyyTZ0PpwHCwK1vnt0vZ3HY_F7pnouJbfEw_p-eKWbeM2XFuxDHFsP6g6Uv2h0qDdeq2-oIaaMM-caMMQopsEXVFipGxnFiY2dBKFUBqacOYGvg/s400/Inside+Word+Art.png" width="400" /></a></div>
That's it for now. I have other cards and material I would like to share with you and promise to get them up soon. Thanks for stopping by.<br />
<br />
Until next time...Happy Crafting. <br />

One major thing, my family moved again...which is unusual since I dislike pulling up stakes.<br /><br />I'm what you call a "Nester". I love to nest. Put me anywhere and I'll settle in with glee...only don't ask me to do it A LOT and in a short period of time!!! When I set up a new nest I want to stay awhile. I want to play with my things, not spend time opening boxes and looking for some thing or another.<br /><br />Actually the most used and most hated sentence in our family is..."It's somewhere...in some box."<br /><br />Enough said of me. I want to wish everyone on a Happy St. Patrick's Day! Here is a card front I designed for the holiday. Feel free to download it if you so wish. It has been sized for a 4.25 x 5.5 card.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibkjItySQRr57Z6__jVcs_NjRjB19XyJccv__SqWJSWkCyVsYlTFX5QvPYd59ck-s3BWmrHZnWJWqk3UPeXVy0FdoteXy1DmG6D8-wZFdGdYdx-MwtrxVfUEhs6L03v2uscWbDDq6nCV0/s1600/Happy+St+Patrick%2527s+Day-MOCS.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 246px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEibkjItySQRr57Z6__jVcs_NjRjB19XyJccv__SqWJSWkCyVsYlTFX5QvPYd59ck-s3BWmrHZnWJWqk3UPeXVy0FdoteXy1DmG6D8-wZFdGdYdx-MwtrxVfUEhs6L03v2uscWbDDq6nCV0/s320/Happy+St+Patrick%2527s+Day-MOCS.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5720730346821552834" border="0" /></a><br /></div>Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-64736595598851691872012-02-07T14:29:00.018-07:002012-02-09T21:06:57.404-07:00Missed My Friday Freebie Last WeekSorry about that...<br /><br />Last weekend was the Annual <a style="color: rgb(153, 51, 153); font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.glendaleaz.com/events/chocolateaffaire.cfm">Chocolate Affaire</a> held in Glendale, Arizona. I recently joined a blog group who adheres to Edgar Allen Poe's work. The blog is titled <a style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(153, 102, 51);" href="http://poequoththeraven.blogspot.com/"><span style="font-style: italic;">Quoth The Raven Nevermore</span></a>. Yep...and I have my cards to blame. I was so intent on finishing up some cards I'd started a while back but had to walk away from (there were many), that I let time get away from me.<br /><br />Of course, when I remembered last night, I had already turned off the computer...not to mention I was totally pooped, and my eyes were shooting sparks. Then this morning, I attended an early writers' get-together...our goal... enter tags on our books on Amazon, in hopes of pulling in more readers. Authors always love new readers...<span style="font-style: italic;">hint, hint</span>.<br /><br />With that said, here is my second pinch bag for you to download. I've titled it Lil Stinker. Don't you just love the red color? I do.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjseSwQmRH51Kk0iY5WyGDl1CgyygoI5wKBYDUR383ovraRbO-7KYpk8AQ-xMl3JRuEfy44EYfsSScBqEZlaLBENCGHDWKKMtEYlqdR90JZg5QQAJeCQJ3mUVp3z6LGJ5GqHASJvBIDZn0/s1600/Little+Stinker+PB+MOCS.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 259px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjseSwQmRH51Kk0iY5WyGDl1CgyygoI5wKBYDUR383ovraRbO-7KYpk8AQ-xMl3JRuEfy44EYfsSScBqEZlaLBENCGHDWKKMtEYlqdR90JZg5QQAJeCQJ3mUVp3z6LGJ5GqHASJvBIDZn0/s320/Little+Stinker+PB+MOCS.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5697609989001551474" border="0" /></a><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Click on the graphic above and save the download when the files opens.<br /></div><br /><br />The graphics for this pinch box came from <a style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.scrappindoodles.com/">Scrappin Doodles</a><span style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0); font-weight: bold;">.</span> If you're looking for some great graphics, check them out.<br /><br /><br />Until next time...Happy Crafting.Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-71432072522933172032012-01-06T15:22:00.004-07:002012-01-06T16:17:12.351-07:00A Valentine Free Gift<span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:130%;" ><span style="color: rgb(204, 0, 0);">A Hundred Hearts</span></span><br /><br />Since Christmas I have been double-darn busy. Mostly with family requirements. All during this time I felt there was a missing element my life. It caught up with me this afternoon.<br /><br />I haven't offered a free gift on my blog for quite some time.<br /><br />Well...I've taken care of that. Here is a gift.<br /><br />It's a pinch bag. I love these things. They're great for holding all kinds of small gifts. Candy, little toys, gift cards, special surprises, etc. What's also awesome about these bags is you can store them in your computer for future valentine holidays. They won't take up space...or get lost under a pile of other paper gifts...and they're quick and easy to make.<br /><br />Sooo...with that said...every Friday until February 14th, I'll offer a different Valentine's pinch Bag to save into your Valentine's Day Gift Folder.<br /><br />Here is Valentine Gift 1: <span style="font-style: italic;">A Hundred Hearts</span><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMS6JfCDWIfD11YGpEcqwJ55vWmEYhEoFW5qOHd8RP1uv7R318n5UuhSXWdUeH05_NrmLGb0YXmZmlMUU1R60fCeYS8bsJfFAY6F4kT4iwwTTHFionEAfe8h1en8nxuAlWPVEw_7acwUI/s1600/A+Hundred+Hearts+Pinch+Bag-MOCS.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 259px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMS6JfCDWIfD11YGpEcqwJ55vWmEYhEoFW5qOHd8RP1uv7R318n5UuhSXWdUeH05_NrmLGb0YXmZmlMUU1R60fCeYS8bsJfFAY6F4kT4iwwTTHFionEAfe8h1en8nxuAlWPVEw_7acwUI/s320/A+Hundred+Hearts+Pinch+Bag-MOCS.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5694651189419555042" border="0" /></a><br />Click on the image to download.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-style: italic;font-size:85%;" >A Hundred Hearts</span><span style="font-size:85%;"> was created with artwork by Trina Clark, <a href="http://digiscrapkits.com/digiscraps/">Home to Artwork by Trina Clark</a></span><br /><br />Until next time...Happy Crafting<br /></div></div>Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-19230981505076911132011-12-24T14:49:00.008-07:002011-12-24T15:26:55.747-07:00A Gingerbread Christmas CardGotta love those Gingerbread guys these days. Like all of you, preparing for the holidays took precedence in getting some things done first. In case you need a set of quick gifts, these might be perfect for you to do up in a hurry.<br /><br />Below is a Card Box Holder and a Pillow Box I made as my give-away gifts for a writing party I attended last week. Once I got home I decided to add another gift which is the pinch box. What fun.<br /><br />Here is my next card I am going to enter. Yippeee!<br /><br />I opted to send it to <a href="http://http//pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com">Pollycraft Monday Challeng</a><a href="http://http//pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com">e</a>. I've noticed there are tons of other cards entered. Some crafters have entered more than once. Me? I'm sticking to one per contest (reason? It's all I have time for-grin).<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw_PHCweQjzQhVJOEAZ4Utyxzz9-2NKRzEua04vAHYeyPIdPsUdABge2qzxrwxTnii2yzgj6zxFLPmmfOdMvkMEFdVbD4l4P4jXgnrunWdeMAFVTbOcWcXJ8BSDgDnMPDsyaeWso7F2jA/s1600/Santa+Stop+Here+1+MOCS.jpg"><img style="cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 238px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiw_PHCweQjzQhVJOEAZ4Utyxzz9-2NKRzEua04vAHYeyPIdPsUdABge2qzxrwxTnii2yzgj6zxFLPmmfOdMvkMEFdVbD4l4P4jXgnrunWdeMAFVTbOcWcXJ8BSDgDnMPDsyaeWso7F2jA/s320/Santa+Stop+Here+1+MOCS.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5685673501441008130" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">If you haven't noticed by now, a lot of my cards are using unusual Christmas colors. Don't ask me why, but the urge to do so has been fairly strong this year.<br /><br />My snowman is another <a style="color: rgb(153, 51, 0); font-weight: bold;" href="http://cuddlybuddly.com/">CuddlyBuddly</a> digi stamp. The back ground paper is from DCWV Christmas & Winter 180 Stack. Copics were used for the coloring, except for his hat. I did a little digi-ing on it to make it look darker. The snowflakes were from punches: Martha Stewart's Alpine Snowflake and Marvy Uchida's small Snowflake. The bling I think I got from a local craft store.<br /><br />Until next time...Happy Crafting.<br />Lady E<br /></div></div>Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-32762043040781233312011-12-12T11:08:00.006-07:002011-12-12T11:37:51.962-07:00Oh wow...another challengeThanks to another online friend, <span style="font-weight: bold;"> </span><a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://borqna-venkova.blogspot.com/">Borqna</a>, I learned there was a challenge I missed. It's titled "There's No Business like SNOW Business", hosted by DT and <a style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);" href="http://shellysimagesblog.blogspot.com/">Shelly's Images</a>.<br /><br />I made this card quite a while ago. Since I'm trying to enter challenges, I decided to give it another try. Generally I'm lurker only.<br /><br />The graphic used is a Magnolia stamp, colored with Copics and Stickles. The background paper I can't remember. For the sentiment I used a "Scrappy Cat" clear stamp. The little penguin I've had for a while...I added him for a change of pace. Grin.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC-i9P8kKYdfcpaGGmZkCS5Vl75PYMCS-5iIxNrPBijGCB2y52vaScivP9dyKNP42hF83U5U3MJbw7SD6lQBUu0ryIF7fFEInVgqt0ZSHdOzkdFJvWiFxSiXAWGndyzvdFYGRsrljuAio/s1600/Frosty+Snowman.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgC-i9P8kKYdfcpaGGmZkCS5Vl75PYMCS-5iIxNrPBijGCB2y52vaScivP9dyKNP42hF83U5U3MJbw7SD6lQBUu0ryIF7fFEInVgqt0ZSHdOzkdFJvWiFxSiXAWGndyzvdFYGRsrljuAio/s320/Frosty+Snowman.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5684935207001565266" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br />Anyway...I'm trying.<br />Happy Crafting.Christinehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10590774208605054048noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148259496533234393.post-17952773085477161922011-12-11T09:45:00.007-07:002011-12-11T10:01:09.068-07:00A Card from IkeOne of my favorite online friends, <a style="color: rgb(51, 51, 153);" href="http://suzy-ikesworld.blogspot.com/">Ike's World</a>, took three of my graphics and made an awesome card with them. <span style=";font-family:Georgia,";" >She designed it especially for <span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Day 6</span> of the <span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(51, 102, 102);">12 Days of Christma</span><span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 102);">s</span> with<a href="http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/"> </a><a style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);" href="http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/">Smeared & Smudged</a>.<br /><br /></span><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF5dn4mwtDJY72fsZG4gUBHtzGJU6XHQiprRKEbZYVbxqLe7S9-Zu8PCEj5qm_ivHaffkCXG6glpZPvgK4ohy5zlMRwfqrzRAzXVJOO24Z37BnrNLImkmWrXIiUgFu4sYliaTkjx2CGVg/s1600/DAY6.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 290px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjF5dn4mwtDJY72fsZG4gUBHtzGJU6XHQiprRKEbZYVbxqLe7S9-Zu8PCEj5qm_ivHaffkCXG6glpZPvgK4ohy5zlMRwfqrzRAzXVJOO24Z37BnrNLImkmWrXIiUgFu4sYliaTkjx2CGVg/s320/DAY6.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5684914843074999538" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">If you'd like to download these graphics, scroll to the last week in November. Both have graphics from <a style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: rgb(204, 0, 0);" href="http://cuddlybuddly.com/">Cuddly Buddly</a>. The background and paper were from DCWV's large Christmas Stack.<br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8WU6sKcMkbnb_IOzQrKqXCyIjrz7HaBaZ1Lmlm_Mygm1Q8zs5QJqHPktbVGG0yFg_f7Rfmj4Zh1CzqWjd-WBiTw_ln2VxTCKo7NFNAQCdkA3SGwIqGw9zdWY_Nh_m8x08vmnanhRaAY/s1600/A+Happy+Christmas-Dover+Art.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 169px; height: 96px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8WU6sKcMkbnb_IOzQrKqXCyIjrz7HaBaZ1Lmlm_Mygm1Q8zs5QJqHPktbVGG0yFg_f7Rfmj4Zh1CzqWjd-WBiTw_ln2VxTCKo7NFNAQCdkA3SGwIqGw9zdWY_Nh_m8x08vmnanhRaAY/s320/A+Happy+Christmas-Dover+Art.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683452743140980354" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-size:85%;"><span style="font-style: italic;">This is a graphic from <a style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 102);" href="http://store.doverpublications.com/">Dover Art</a> that I like. Thought I'd use it between the cards.<br />You are welcome to use it, but remember it isn't one of my graphics.</span></span><br /></div><br /><br />Here is my first one. The graphic is titled "Emma Walking". I used Copics on the little girl. Spellbinders for the oval frames, and paper flowers with a bling as accents. The word art was cut from a grouping of paper holiday sayings.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicf_T23AarljysWuQ9QLsX8jGuPjyyjzWBLeWE-HWBaVsjVgHkhxtaBusCWZUuM0Xis4G9a7fEYSQ0jjbL9NeZKpQSJv-gngdbhlHa_b2tuGuziyrQ1UKplZ-wWC-XD3tHnTP9IdAkOk0/s1600/Happy+Holidays.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 241px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicf_T23AarljysWuQ9QLsX8jGuPjyyjzWBLeWE-HWBaVsjVgHkhxtaBusCWZUuM0Xis4G9a7fEYSQ0jjbL9NeZKpQSJv-gngdbhlHa_b2tuGuziyrQ1UKplZ-wWC-XD3tHnTP9IdAkOk0/s320/Happy+Holidays.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683444978868724610" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I've entered this card in the <a href="http://craftycreationschallenges.blogspot.com/">Crafty Creations Challenge.</a><br /><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8WU6sKcMkbnb_IOzQrKqXCyIjrz7HaBaZ1Lmlm_Mygm1Q8zs5QJqHPktbVGG0yFg_f7Rfmj4Zh1CzqWjd-WBiTw_ln2VxTCKo7NFNAQCdkA3SGwIqGw9zdWY_Nh_m8x08vmnanhRaAY/s1600/A+Happy+Christmas-Dover+Art.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 169px; height: 96px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8WU6sKcMkbnb_IOzQrKqXCyIjrz7HaBaZ1Lmlm_Mygm1Q8zs5QJqHPktbVGG0yFg_f7Rfmj4Zh1CzqWjd-WBiTw_ln2VxTCKo7NFNAQCdkA3SGwIqGw9zdWY_Nh_m8x08vmnanhRaAY/s320/A+Happy+Christmas-Dover+Art.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683452743140980354" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;">Cuddly Buddly's graphic for the next one is titled "Especially For You". Again I used Copic markers for colors and Spellbinders for the frames. The snowflakes came from Martha Stewart's Arctic punch, topped with a little bling. There's no name on it so I can't tell you who made it.<br /><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnhy6Si6w7IwFG5-fWLS7HhyrGqHiIPo6zY0AX1D79AElHa0FutXej2yvOKKqY6CZo0PndEn_1jhKrPmWKoKvnOz7DJha4iybcnOoG04TUveWwhHM2Xd5EXfu-V0HySMwEqaYQs4Tp5h8/s1600/Do+Not+Peek+1.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 281px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhnhy6Si6w7IwFG5-fWLS7HhyrGqHiIPo6zY0AX1D79AElHa0FutXej2yvOKKqY6CZo0PndEn_1jhKrPmWKoKvnOz7DJha4iybcnOoG04TUveWwhHM2Xd5EXfu-V0HySMwEqaYQs4Tp5h8/s320/Do+Not+Peek+1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683448063104910642" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;">I entered this card in the <a style="color: rgb(51, 102, 102);" href="http://simplycreatetoo.blogspot.com/2011/11/challenge-1-all-about-christmas.html">Simply Create Too Contest</a><br /></div><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8WU6sKcMkbnb_IOzQrKqXCyIjrz7HaBaZ1Lmlm_Mygm1Q8zs5QJqHPktbVGG0yFg_f7Rfmj4Zh1CzqWjd-WBiTw_ln2VxTCKo7NFNAQCdkA3SGwIqGw9zdWY_Nh_m8x08vmnanhRaAY/s1600/A+Happy+Christmas-Dover+Art.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 169px; height: 96px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEja8WU6sKcMkbnb_IOzQrKqXCyIjrz7HaBaZ1Lmlm_Mygm1Q8zs5QJqHPktbVGG0yFg_f7Rfmj4Zh1CzqWjd-WBiTw_ln2VxTCKo7NFNAQCdkA3SGwIqGw9zdWY_Nh_m8x08vmnanhRaAY/s320/A+Happy+Christmas-Dover+Art.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5683452743140980354" border="0" /></a><br /></div><br />This is my first time entering any type of contests or challenges with my cards.
